Abel Selaocoes celebrated festival debuts

This summer, Abel Selaocoe celebrated his debuts at the Rheingau Musik Festival and Fränkischer Sommer - and even won an award.

For his debut at the Rheingau Musik Festival on Wednesday 9 August, Abel Selaocoe not only brought the long-lost sun with him, but was also accompanied by his musical partner, jazz pianist and baroque expert Fred Thomas. With his programme "Where is Home / Hae Ke Kae", he made Schloss Geisenheim his home for the evening. The audience thanked the duo with standing ovations.

The tour continued to sunny Middle Franconia for the Fränkischer Sommer festival. In the centre of the violin makers, Bubenreuth, Abel Selaocoe, this time solo, made the Maria Heimsuchung Church sound with cello, voice and body percussion. The audience was so enthusiastic that he received the audience award for young artists of the festival. Congratulations!
