Every concert a debut - Abel Selaocoe on tour in Germany

In May, Abel Selaocoe travelled all over Germany for a week and was greeted with enthusiasm everywhere he went.

Together with his Bantu Ensemble, consisting of bassist Alan Keary, percussionist Dudu Kouate and pianist Fred Thomas, Abel Selaocoe played at the Dresdner Musikfestspiele for the first time on 14 May 2024. It wasn't just the glass ceiling in the courtyard of the Residenzschloss that caused the temperature to rise; the four musicians also really fired up the audience.

Selaocoe continued on to Weikersheim, where he made his debut with his solo recital in the main hall of the Tauberphilharmonie on 16 May 2024.

The last stop was Hanover, where Selaocoe first gave two days of workshops at the University of Music, Theatre and Media, which ended in a joint concert.

He gave his last concert and debut on 19 May 2024 at the Herrenhausen Gallery as part of the Herrenhausen Kunstfestspiele, again with his solo recital. "Abel Selaocoe hits the heart" was the verdict not only of the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, but also of the audience.
